She was a rookie Police Officer when her volunteer service as a DMORT specialist for the Federal Government led her to be pressed into service on the TWA Flight 800 Crash. Then years later was assigned to and worked the Pile at Ground Zero for 23 days. 

Stacey Goodman is our guest, she is a retired Suffolk County New York Police Officer. Stacey talks about the grim and rarely discussed responsibilities of recovering human remains from victims at mass casualty sites. She also discusses her way of handling conspiracy theorists and how the demands of the job affected her, which she details in her book "The Dust Never Settles".

John J. Wiley is a retired Police Sergeant turned radio personality. He has been a full time FM Music Radio DJ since 2005. In 2017 he founded the Law Enforcement Today Podcast, in a partnership with Robert Greenberg of Law Enforcement Today. The show is now named the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast.
Within a couple months a radio station heard an episode of the podcast and asked him to create a radio version, which he did. It has been syndicated since the Spring of 2017 and has numerous affiliate radio stations across the US.
