Husband Police Officer's Suicide.  She tells their story to save lives. When she saw two N.Y.P.D. chaplains approaching the house, that's when it hit her, he was gone. Her husband, veteran of the N.Y.P.D. died by suicide. Maryann tells their story to save lives. 

MaryAnn Maginnis is our guest. In 2002 her husband, NYPD Sergeant Peter Maginnis died by suicide. MaryAnn tells the story of his death, what she experienced on that tragic day. She also talks about the events that led up to and contributed to his death. Most importantly MaryAnn tells us about life for her and their children afterwards. MaryAnn explains her mission in telling their story is to help save lives and prevent future suicides.

John J. Wiley is a retired Police Sergeant turned radio personality. He has been a full time FM Music Radio DJ since 2005. In 2017 he founded the Law Enforcement Today Podcast, in a partnership with Robert Greenberg of Law Enforcement Today. The show is now named the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast.
Within a couple months a radio station heard an episode of the podcast and asked him to create a radio version, which he did. It has been syndicated since the Spring of 2017 and has numerous affiliate radio stations across the US.
